Masham Riding and Trekking Centre

Ride out on sturdy but lively Highlands from the Masham Riding Centre, beautifully located on the Swinton Park Estate. Popular with holiday-makers exploring the beautiful Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, manager Sarah Harding and her team are well used to beginners and do lessons as well as trekking, and will arrange a hack for more experienced riders on demand. The centre is also home to the prize-winning Dykes Hill Highland Pony stud, owned by Lady Swinton. If you want to bring your own horse, they can arrange for overnight stays in spare loose-boxes on a DIY basis.
