Woodland tracks of Boltby Forestry, high escarpment views and miles of open countryside and moorland.
Day one - Arrive with a packed lunch and overnight bag at Boltby near Thirsk and be introduced to your guide, other riders that will be joining you and your horse. Spend the day riding over a wide variety of spectacular countryside in good company to a Bed and Breakfast where your luggage will have been dropped off and the horses will stay in a field nearby. The route will be chosen by the guide based on the weather and the riders' level of experience, and includes a lunch break. Evening meal is available to purchase either at the B&B or at a good local pub, depending on location.
Day two - Return to Boltby by a different route taking in new landscapes and villages. Packed lunch will be provided.
Price - £250 per person based on two sharing. If you are on your own it may be possible to share with another guest on the ride. Price includes two days of guided riding on a hired horse, one night B&B, luggage transfer and packed lunch on the second day.
