The first day's 18 mile circular ride follows grass tracks and permissive lanes to visit the village of Terrington. Fields, meadows and woodlands with an abundance of wildlife lead towards Hovingham. Ambitious riders may wish to embark on an extended route through Hovingham and over to a number of small villages on a variety of off-road tracks. Equally, riders who wish a more leisuely ride can do a shorter route. There are fabulous long straight tracks through woodland on good going.
