Birkdale Farm lies at the heart of a wonderful network of bridleways and lanes in the Howardian Hills AONB. Hidden away down a quiet track near Terrington, the farm offers a spacious barn conversion sleeping up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The accommodation here is on a self-catering basis, so you can either cook for yourselves or venture out to one of the nearby pubs – there are several good ones within easy reach. 

 

There’s turnout for your horses (paddocks can be divided if necessary), a covered tie-up area, with a lockable tack-room for your own use, and safe parking for your horse-box. 

 

From here, you can ride out to pretty villages such as Terrington, Welburn and Hovingham, with fantastic views across this beautiful area, including Castle Howard and towards the North York Moors.
