Farsyde Farm Cottages, Yorkshire Coast
A complex of self-catering cottages has been created by the Green family from the historic farm buildings at Farsyde Farm, standing just above the charming and historic village of Robin Hood’s Bay. Two cottages and the beautiful Grade 2* listed Farsyde House are available to hire, each sleeping 3-6 people, meaning that there's room for larger groups.
Grazing and loose-boxes are available for visiting horses - there are plenty of facilities and other horses around, as a trekking centre is run from the same site.
Staying here allows good access to the beach, which you reach by riding down through the picturesque streets of Robin Hood’s Bay (depending on the tide-times and holiday season). A network of bridleways and the Scarborough to Whitby rail-trail provides miles of traffic-free riding along the coast and inland through the North York Moors National Park.
The cottages are set on a mixed farm which includes several kinds of livestock, from Blonde d'Aquitaine beef cattle to sheep and donkeys.
