Farsyde Riding Centre
Building on her father’s work in creating a successful mixed farm on the cliff-tops above the North Sea, Heidi Green now runs a riding centre which is the only remaining place on the Yorkshire Coast where people without their own horses can ride along the beach.
Experienced riders can head down through the narrow, picturesque streets of Robin Hood’s Bay and paddle with the horses in the pools and waves. Meanwhile, less experienced riders can enjoy scenic views across the coast and sea from gentler trails and quiet lanes.
In addition, the centre has direct access to the Scarborough to Whitby Rail-trail and other beautiful long bridleways through moorland, pastures and woodland. Even if you’re not able to get down to the beach during your visit, you’ll love the panoramic coastal views!
