You can enjoy a perfect back-to-nature riding holiday at Goxhill Meadows Ecofriendly Glamping, amidst the tranquil farming lands of Holderness, in East Yorkshire.

Guests stay in Landpods, offering warmth and comfort and designed to blend in with nature while minimising impact on the land. Landpods sleep up to 4 adults on 2 comfortable double beds, bunk-bed style - all you need to bring is your bedding! The pods have solar-powered lighting and each has its own private shower-pod and eco-friendly toilet nearby. Outside each pod you''ll find a picnic table and camping chairs, plus a firepit, underneath a sun/rain canopy. Glampers share a kitchen area (which, appropriately, is a converted horse-trailer) where you will find a stove, sink and all the cutlery, pans and crockery you'll need.

There are just three Landpods positioned in a large meadow, each with its own open space and privacy and with uninterrupted views over the surrounding arable land and woodland – and over your horses, grazing in adjacent fields. Sunsets are superb to watch whilst having an early evening drink by your firepit, and on clear nights star-gazing is wonderful, with a total absence of light pollution.

There’s a fantastic variety of hacking from the gate. You can even ride off-road to Mappleton beach and gallop for miles – it’s spectacular!

You’ll probably also enjoy being amongst the family’s own horses, miniature ponies, alpacas, pygmy goats, Valais Blacknose and Ryland sheep and chickens; fresh eggs are always an option for breakfast. Hands-on animal experiences are available on request for you to go on an adventure trek with alpacas, miniature ponies, pygmy goats or sheep and learn all about them!
