Moorside Country B&B, North York Moors
Located in an area of pasture in Cropton Forest, in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, Moorside is an ideal spot for a riding break.
Bridleways and tracks radiate out in all directions and lead to scenic spots such as the Hole of Horcum and Rosedale, and pretty villages such as Hutton-le-Hole, Lastingham and Goathland - all just a few miles away. You can easily build circular routes of different lengths to suit you and your horse from here.
Your horses can graze happily near rare breed cattle and sheep while you enjoy Gill and Kev’s hospitality - including an excellent breakfast of local sausages and other produce. They can supply you with a packed lunch on request, and as many of the villages are popular tourist spots, you’ll find several good places to stop for refreshments during your exploration. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby for your evening meals, and if you don't feel like riding all day and every day, there's a variety of other things to do in the area.
There’s accommodation for 4 here in twin rooms with en-suite or private bathrooms (beds can be zipped together to form queen-size on request). Stabling is also available for your horses.
