Masham Riding & Trekking Centre  

Situated in beautiful rolling countryside in the Wensleydale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Masham Riding Centre is owned by Lady Swinton. Rides are on sturdy Highlands from the owner’s prize-winning herd (Dykes Hill Highlands) or on pretty Welsh Mountain ponies. The Centre’s real strength is its privileged access to the 22,000 acre Swinton Estate with its wonderful variety of rides, from fields to woodland, rivers and moorland. The Centre also gives lessons to riders of all abilities and ages in an outdoor arena.  

 

There is plenty of accommodation in and around the attractive market town of Masham, with some excellent walking routes and a golf-course – or for a luxury break, treat yourself at the magnificent Swinton Park Hotel next door!
