The Granary, Manor Farm

Ideally situated for a riding holiday, The Granary provides self-catering accommodation for 4/5 people in the picturesque village of Newton upon Rawcliffe, on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park. The accommodation is on the upper floor of a converted farm building, accessed via an external stone stairway in the traditional manner.
There are numerous bridleways starting straight from Manor Farm. You can ride through a wonderful variety of scenery from moorland to forest to stone-built hamlets, with plenty of variety and panoramic views.
Excellent facilities are available for your horses, ranging from grazing in post-and-rail paddocks (individual turnout is avalable), to internal stabling in spacious boxes.
There's also ample parking for trailers/lorries, a secure tack-room, wash-down area, and free use of a 20m x 40m outdoor arena. You could also arrange schooling lessons with Manor Farm owner Karen Ridley, who is BHS and ABRS qualified. All equine facilities are set within the same complex as The Granary, so your horses are nearby at all times.
Newton-on-Rawcliffe has a pub and tea-rooms and is just 4 miles from the market town of Pickering, with good shops, restaurants, and other amenities. The Granary is also within easy reach of attractions such as the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway, the Ryedale Folk Museum, Castle Howard, and Dalby Forest, while coastal towns such as Whitby and Scarborough are not far away.
